Information We Collect

When you connect Bulk Site Importer to your ServiceM8 account via OAuth, we access only the data needed to perform the import functions you request, including:

• Client (company) names and details
• Job details (addresses, descriptions, purchase order numbers)
• Job contact details (names, phone numbers)

We also temporarily process the contents of any spreadsheet you upload through the Add-on, which typically contains the site, job, and contact information you want imported into ServiceM8.

We do not collect payment card details directly — any subscription billing is handled through ServiceM8's own billing system.

How We Use This Information

Information accessed via the ServiceM8 API and the spreadsheets you upload is used solely to:

• Create the sites, jobs, and contact records you request inside your own ServiceM8 account
• Maintain your OAuth connection so the Add-on continues to work without requiring you to reconnect for every use
• Provide support if you contact us with an issue

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the Add-on's functionality.

Data Storage & Retention

• OAuth tokens: We store your ServiceM8 access and refresh tokens securely in order to maintain your connection between sessions. Confirm: encrypted at rest? Which server/region?
• Uploaded spreadsheets: Confirm actual behavior — e.g. "processed in memory and deleted immediately after the import completes," or a stated retention period if kept temporarily for troubleshooting.
• We do not retain a separate copy of your ServiceM8 client, job, or contact data beyond what's needed to complete an active import.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only transmitted to ServiceM8's own API in order to create the records you've requested. We do not share your data with any other external service.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, to protect your information. Access to stored OAuth tokens is restricted to systems required to operate the Add-on.

Your Control & Access

You can disconnect Bulk Site Importer from your ServiceM8 account at any time via your ServiceM8 account settings. Once disconnected, we no longer have access to create or modify records in your account, and any stored access tokens for your account are invalidated/deleted.

Children's Privacy

Bulk Site Importer is a business tool intended for use by trade and field service businesses. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, individuals under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
